ADA INFORMATION

Our festival is an ADA accessible event, and we are dedicated to continually improving our efforts to ensure you have access to all the event amenities. The following explains the services provided at our event. For any accessibility-related questions or for accommodations not detailed below, please email us at info@intothehorizon.com. We will do our best to assist you and address your accessibility needs.

ACCESSIBILITY

The Waterfront Park is navigable for people with mobility disabilities. The event is held on primarily grassy terrain with cement pathways. We encourage all guests with mobility disabilities to plan for mobility on and through grass. We welcome personal forms of transportation, including wheelchairs and scooters. Crutches, walkers and canes are permitted as well. The distance from the main entrance to our ADA viewing area at the main stage is approximately a quarter of a mile. If you need to recharge your motorized mobility device, please visit our  Guest Services booth for directions to the nearest charging station. Guests should bring all cords and accessories needed to charge their devices.

ADA PARKING

There will be limited ADA parking spots for guests on Pacific Highway at the corner of Grape Street and Pacific Highway, and are available on a first come, first served basis. You are required to bring a valid, state-issued handicap placard, permit, or license plate to enter this parking lot. The person to whom the handicap credential is issued must be present in the vehicle, as a driver or passenger. Additional ADA parking spots are available in the surrounding neighborhood as allocated by the city.

ADA LOADING & UNLOADING

Guests with disabilities can be dropped off by friends and family at the Rideshare areas on Pacific Highway and near the event entrance on West Ash St. Drivers must present a valid handicap placard or plates to drop off guests in these zones.

ADA ENTRY

There will be an ADA entry lane for wheelchair access near the main entrance on West Ash Street, adjacent to Will Call and the Staff entrance. Guests with disabilities and needs for this wider lane, and up to one companion, may use this lane to safely enter the venue. Please visit the Guest Services booth immediately after entering the event to request an ADA wristband and any services you may need.

GUEST SERVICES BOOTH

The Guest Services booth is conveniently located inside the venue, as soon as you enter. Please Note: You must stop here to get your ADA Wristband. This wristband is free of charge and will grant you access to the accessibility services you may require on account of a disability or injury. There is no ADA pre-registration before the event.

WRISTBAND POLICY

A limited number of ADA Wristbands will be available for use on the day it is issued. You must visit the Guest Services booth once again if you are attending a second day. DO NOT remove your wristband at any point during the event. Guests may request a wristband for one companion if needed. If a disabled guest wants to switch their companion, you must bring the old companion wristband to the Guest Services booth to be reissued.

ADA VIEWING AREAS

There will be accessible viewing areas made available to ADA guests at two separate  locations. Please note these general ADA seating areas will be placed in wheelchair accessible locations and will not be stage front. An event map may be requested prior to the event. No additional viewing accommodations will be offered throughout the time of the event.

ADA Viewing Area Policies

  • Seating is available on a first come, first served basis.

  • Companions may be asked to stand if the viewing area reaches capacity.

  • Guests may not save spots.

  • Blocking the view of the guests sitting behind you is not permitted.

  • Standing is permitted only in the very back row.

  • Guests and companions may not smoke in these areas.

SERVICE ANIMALS

Service animals are permitted throughout the venue. However, please take into account the volume of music and the potential impact to your service animal. Emotional support animals, therapy animals, companion animals, and pets are not permitted into the event. Any animal whose task is to provide protection, emotional support, well-being, comfort, or companionship is not considered a service animal and will not be allowed into the venue. Only service animals that have been individually trained and are under the proper care of their owners will be allowed within the premises.

The following guidelines must be followed:

  • Upon entering the festival, all service animals must be checked-in at the Guest Services booth and will receive an ADA tag to help festival staff identify the service animal.

  • Service animals must remain by the handler’s side at all times and must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered. If these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or if the handler’s disability prevents the use of these devices, the handler must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal, or other effective controls.

  • Anyone bringing an animal will be responsible for and liable for any damage or injury caused by the animal.

  • All service animals should have legally required vaccinations. Festival coordinator may ask for proof of vaccination during the check-in process.

  • We ask that you do not leave your animal in your car while you're attending the event, as vehicles without active air conditioning may become too hot and unsafe for any animal.
